LIK

LIK from Stockholm play death metal the way Sweden made it famous: classic, raw and in the tradition of Dismember, At The Gates and Entombed. The name already sets the course, as “Lik” is Swedish for “corpse”. Founded in 2014, the band released their debut “Mass Funeral Evocation” in 2015. “Carnage” (2018) brought the move to Metal Blade Records, followed by “Misanthropic Breed” in 2020.

Their current album “Necro” came out on 18 April 2025: produced by Lawrence Mackrory, recorded live in just three days at NBS Studio in Söderfors, with guest appearances by Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost, Bloodbath) and Linnea Landstedt (Tyranex).

In spring 2026 LIK took the “Necrofeeling Over Europe” tour across Europe, including the Dark Easter Metal Meeting in Munich, and in August they played the Blasphemy Festival in Slovakia.
